PLAYING rtd, Roll the Dice...song links/samples
****************************************************************************
All the song links featured here r courtesy of Amazon...i do not work for Amazon....but do believe they r a company that offers good value for the money......
If i heard correctly....they have approx. 800k song samples...on their site.....u pretty much pick the artist and they will have that artists cd, even many obscure ones...u can use their player or a WMP or Real Player to play the sample once on site...
The song links r only samples...alot r 30 seconds...but alot r 1 minute in length...what i did was pick my favorite artists....go through their albums on the Amazon site...then pick songs from each album to feature here....while i feel i have a good representative sample of the each artist ...i admit i only chose the songs that i liked....
Well blah, blah....am running on a bit....lmao...that is me.....btw sometimes all u hav 2 do is click on the link...i aint no roads scholar....
These links/samples play on a Windows Media Player.....playing the link starts with a Right mouse button click on the link...Left click..and with most of the links u will go to the Amazon web site page for the album the song came from(if not the WMP ID's the album/cd)...it can be useful for reviews and info....
So 2 methods....
1st...say there r 5 song links...Right click the link...select> Save Target As....a small Save As window should pop up to enable u to save the link to ur comp desktop creating a small WMP icon....u can create ur filename(my WMP chooses to name all links 'hurl' for some reason?and if u save 5 samples, they need to have different names) ...i just number each successive link 1,2,3 etc as the WMP will ID the song and album name when it plays the link....
So in this example....u can have 5 WMP icons on ur desktop quickly....then u can double click these icons and play the song....after u leave this site....the links of course, will still be good as long as u r connected to the internet....will not need ur browser open...
2cnd...u can Right click the link...Copy Shortcut.....go to ur Windows Media Player.....in the Header select File>Open Url and in the small Open window that appears paste the link(shortcut) u just copied and hit OK...takes about 5 seconds....
Well look...i realize this is laboriously explained...but my knowledge is sparse and maybe it will help ...
I wanted to share music with anyone who visits and may not have heard the artist i featured......lmao..starting to ramble again....have a good one...
